The excitation curves of the N 14 ( d , n )O 15 reaction were measured with a thin plastic scintillator and a pulse height analyser in the energy range of deuterons from 1.00 to 2.15 MeV. Three excitation functions were obtained at the directions of 0, 90 and 165 degrees (1ab. system) with respect to the incident deuterons. The curves obtained at 0 and 165 degrees show remarkable peaks at the deuteron energies, E d =1.6 and 1.9 MeV, respectively, while the curve obtained at 90 degrees is nearly flat.
